Pietro Simone Scarascia is one of the drivers behind introducing apps in the financial industry in Switzerland. He started his professional career with an apprenticeship in economy in the local Swiss chemical industry and moved into banking after the millennium switch to work for the two largest banks in Switzerland. A private IT affinity lead Pietro to choose a rather technical path with JAVA programming and requirements engineering in the early days until the major change to project management on the business side. After having led the International Market Management for Online & Mobile Banking at Credit Suisse he’s shortly taken over the Product Management of Online & Mobile Banking at the bank. Not only does Pietro lead app innovation in the financial services area, he is passionate about apps in all walks of life.
